This is a really really special compact form of the Echeveria Purpusorum. It's also known as the Echeveria Purpusii or Urbinia and it takes a loooooooooooong long time to cultivate. Being the “compact form” of the plant means that the leaves are shorter and cuter. This is why they're so hard to find and they are so hardy even though they stay pretty small.
Echeveria Purpusorum has olive green leaves with vibrant red streaks and striking red edges. It has wonderful flowers that grow out of a tall stalk, which bloom in late spring to summer. Every plant is unusually symmetrical and “perfect”!
Like most echeverias, this one prefers filtered sun, although their color will be much better with more exposure to sun. Just keep an eye on them to prevent sunburn. If you'd like to move them into more harsh sun, you can water them first and train them by giving them more direct sun each day. They are exceptionally hardy and can last a very long time without any water. It's important that the soil drains quickly and dries out completely between each watering. This guy is rare and absolutely goegeous so don't wait to order.
The Echeveria Purpusorum kit comes with a 4 inch cube pot in matte black or matte white, 1 lb of Juicykits cactus mix, 1/2 lb of jet black lava rock, and a cute little note card. Supplies are limited, so don't wait to order.
Orders $150 and above receive free domestic shipping! Sorry, we're not allowed to ship plants outside of the continental US.
