JumpStart Grow Light System

$68.00$88.00

The JumpStart Grow Light System works great for succulent lovers who have more than one terrarium or other potted succulents and cacti. This kit comes with a 2 or 4 foot long fluorescent bulb and a dark green metal stand that lets you adjust how high the light is positioned. The Jumpstart kit is also awesome for propagating succulent cuttings because of its wide lighting area and ability to adjust the lighting height. These special full-spectrum horticultural bulbs were designed to help plants stay healthy by giving off light in all colors of the light spectrum, unlike regular bulbs that mainly provide a yellow-orange light which does little for plants’ photosynthesis process. Fluorescent tubes stay cooler, save a ton of energy, and last thousands of hours longer than an incandescent bulbs. In fact, this bulb costs less than 15 cents per month to leave on for 6hr every day.

To help succulents grow plump and juicy and have better color, we recommend giving your plants at least 6 hours of daylight per day. So if you live in a place where the sun isn’t out much, a full-spectrum horticultural lighting system will help you provide that light. Position the light no more than 12 inches from your plants and make sure to be use it in a safe place away from water and kiddos!
