To end a very exciting year of growth at Juicykits.com, we’ve just made our second donation to charity: water, 100% of which will go to help their cause of bringing clean, safe water to people in developing countries. This year our donation was a tiny bit larger, as was our team and the number of people we helped to create beautiful succulent terrariums. Here are some highlights from a great 2014 at Juicykits.com:
We celebrated our 1st birthday
In April, we celebrated our very first birthday with some new products and free air plants for everyone. We are so grateful to the friends who supported us since the beginning and shared our website with their circles. Since then, we’ve made thousands more connections through our Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Twitter. We’ve also introduced a slew of great new terrarium kits including our new line of succulent bonsai kits. We hope you continue to find our products and photos interesting and continue to share us on your blogs and social media. Thank you!
Mentions from Self Magazine, Fashion Washington, Los Angeles Magazine, and About.com
We had some nice mentions this year from various national publications including Self Magazine‘s mailing list. About.com and Los Angeles Magazine also gave our products a shout out on their websites, as well as The Washington Post’s Fashion Washington magazine recommending us in their Mother’s Day Gift Guide. We always knew that we had a unique product and we’re happy to see them recommended by such respected names.
A lovely holiday gift from the DIY Network’s “I Want That”: Our first national TV appearance!
Just as we launched our Black Friday promotions, the DIY Network aired episode 513 of “I Want That” featuring several of our DIY terrarium kits for both succulents and air plants. The response was overwhelmingly positive and we’ve been working hard ever since to send our kits all over the US for the holidays. We’ll let everyone know when video of the episode ends up on the internet. If you found us on “I Want That” please leave us a comment and say hi. Huge thanks to the team at Fog Edge Media, who produced the show and the DIY Network for airing it to the country.
All these exciting things made it possible to bring you better products and more succulents, form better relationships with our suppliers, and of course, to give back to the world through our (your) donation to our clean water charity. charity: water continues to be a inspiration to us as we work to build a company that not only gives to its customers and employees, but also back to the world at large. We wish you a wonderful and juicy new year! Thank you!
